The two-day seminar on “Modern chromatographic methods (HPLC, GC, etc.)” ended today at the CMLS office. The event gathered specialists from agro-industrial companies, laboratories and controlling institutions, who seek to improve their skills in analyzing agro-products for pesticide residues.
During the workshop, participants learned about current approaches to the use of chromatographic methods, including:
- High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and Gas Chromatography (GC) as the main methods for pesticide analysis.
- Sample preparation methods: participants reviewed the importance of sample preparation for accurate determination of residues and discussed various extraction and purification methods.
- Separation and detection methods: the choice of separation methods and detection options to improve the sensitivity and accuracy of results were discussed.
We are grateful to all participants for their active participation and efforts invested in this workshop! Your questions, comments and sharing of experiences made this event extremely productive and valuable. We invite you to our future events where CMLS will continue to provide expert support and relevant information for success in the agricultural sector.
